Crafting Emails for Every Procurement Stage๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŽจ

Stakeholder engagement is paramount to strategic procurement. Consider articulate and helpful purpose driven communication for every stage of your procurement process.  Here are some ideas to supercharge your email template creation that will eliminate mundane repetitive tasks and take your deal management to new heights:

    • Break down template creation by stage: “Intake” (welcome email), “Negotiation” (proposal follow-up), “Project Finalized” (savings review).
    • Create a template for each stage, using merge fields (e.g., {{Project Name}}, {{Stage}}, {{Spend}}) and Spintax (e.g., {{Great progress on|Nice work with}} [{{Project Name}}]).
    • Consider follow up templates to save time for things like:
      • Gentle nudge - following up on my previous email, please let me know if you need any help or have questions!
      • TCD reminders - get stakeholders moving with a simple reminder that they are X number of days away from the TCD and things need to start moving.
      • Meeting set up - an email that includes basic instructions on how to use a calendar link to set up a quick meeting and talk through some details.
      • General instructions for things like "how to submit an invoice, who the AP contacts are, how to self serve via catalog" etc.

When it comes to delighting stakeholders, Email Templates will help you deliver the right message in a fraction of the time.
