Spintax πŸ’ͺ

Spintax is a great way to keep your email templates from blending in or sounding automated / robotic.

Spintax allows you to add a variable word or phrase to your email and the undrift system selects one at random.

Simply use {{|}} in your template to randomly rotate words and phrases. Separate each word or phrase with the | symbol (vertical bar). Syntax looks like this {{Hi|Hello|Howdy|Hola|Sup|Yo}}. Simply copy and paste where you want the random word to appear in your template and boom, you have variety in every email sent.

Other ideas for Spintax:

  • Email intros {{Hope you are having a great day.|Hope this note finds you well.|Great to work with you on this new project}}.
  • Email outros {{All my best,|Warmly,|Best wishes,|Thank you,}}
  • Inspirational quotes {{I’m not lazy. I’m just very relaxed.| Never make a mistake twice. Make it 2 or 3 times, just to be sure.}}

Example email template:

Subject: {{Quick Update|Project Check-In|Next Steps}} for [Project Name]

Body: {{Hi|Hello|Hey}} [Supplier Name],

{{Great progress on|Nice work with|Solid moves in}} [Negotiation] for [Project Name]! We’re {{excited to|ready to|thrilled about}} achieving ${{500|1000|1500}} in savings so far. {{Let’s seal|Time to finalize|Ready to close}} the deal – {{please review|can you confirm|let’s discuss}} the next steps by [Due Date].

{{Looking forward to|Excited for|Can’t wait for}} your input!

{{Best|Cheers|Thanks again}},

[Your Name]

This template uses Spintax to build rapport, highlight savings (a core undrift value), and align with automation triggers, making it a powerful tool for procurement professionals.
